I’ve just had my DSP6000 re-capped by Steve (swpnt) and have been very happy with the whole experience

Steve is a pleasure to deal with, very reasonably priced and provides a service that has to be one of the most cost effective sonic upgrades available

This has been languishing in the wrong thread for a little while, so I have repeated it here.

Big shout out to Steve at Audiocomm (otherwise known as SWPNT on HH) for fixing my ailing CD transport.
With a flick of the wrist, a wave of pizzazz and a sprocket belt he fixed my unit! Brilliant, thank you Steve.

I'd like to take the opportunity to highly recommend Steve aka swpnt at Compcomm for having diagnosed and repaired, in the first instance, an M6 whose transformer had burnt out, and, on a subsequent occasion, an F80 and M80 whose internal fuses had blown.

I should also note that I was surprised at how reasonable his rates were.

Not exactly a post-sales report; but I would like to express my thanks to Not’arf…

With no opportunities available locally/regionally to audition Trinnov or Lyngdorf AVP’s, Marcus offered to extract his Lyngdorf MP-40 from his home system in Italy and bring it to me for a home-audition when he visits England in June.

Such is the generosity of such HH members, but I wouldn’t dream of asking anyone to put themselves out in this way - especially from another country.

As equally generous: prior to eventually buying my DSP5200SE’s, last year Altus offered to loan his DSP7200SE’s for home-audition.
