Hi all,

I've been happily using my 502 via the XLR outputs to some Meridian M2's. In order to add a headphone output (which the one thing the 502 lacks) I'm considering making use of the single-ended outputs to connect to a headphone amplifier. Is there any issue with having both outputs connected simultaneously?

Thanks for your help

Peter

Hi Peter,

Each output goes through its own internal isolation transformer, so there should not be any problems in running the two outputs simultaneously.

Just remember to power-off the speakers when you're listening to headphones!

Cheers,

Steve
