Dear Forum members,
Please can you help me. I have a lovely pair of DSP6000's from circa 1990. They have worked perfectly for years and then last night I turned them on and only one speaker makes sound (the master on the right with the red light). My heart sank!
All the lights are on both speakers and the volume goes up and down as expected with the remote
I moved the Digital audio input (Coax) over to the slave and the speaker works as expected.
I can only conclude it is perhaps the Meridan digital cable the runs from the Master to the slave that is at fault however, I cannot find any damage to the cable so I find it hard to believe it could be the culprit.
Any ideas welcome?
Thanks in advance.

hi Steve,
by way of an update I unscrewed the coax phono that goes into the slave and found that the central wire had come adrift !
I got the soldering iron out and made a new connection and its all working fine now.
I cannot begin to explain the relief !
In addition to the DSP6000's I have a MC200 and a Digital Sound Processor. I am 66 years young and it's the best system I have ever been so lucky to own.
Best
Tim
