Meridian 861 and Room Correction, I got myself an ECM8000 and what else do I need to use Room Correction, is a Portable Phantom Power Sup. enough or should it be a USB interface with Micro Phantom power supply etc.? I am a little unsure about the ideal connection.

They are independent calibration procedures. The distance/phase procedure pre-dates MRC.

Try adjusting the sensitivity of the mic input to 0.7v
