Quick question. Do Meridian tweeters use ferro fluid. If so is it all models?

I know DSP33 and 420s use them. Some people have said a refresh works.
While overhauling the caps in these speakers, I took the tweeters to a speaker repair person for ferrofluid replacement.
He tested them instead, and they all matched in terms of of the measurements so I left them alone.

I carefully dismantled the tweeters in my old M30s and found them in a gummy mess. Cleaned and replaced the ferrofluid to great effect.

To my knowledge all of the dsp and D600 speakers all use a ferrofliud design principally to improve power handling, This is why meridian treble units " go soft " after 10-20 years of use, A non ferrofluid tweeter does not behave in this manner and tends to have a more consistent sound over its operational life until it fails totally .
