Evening all,
Has anyone here experimented with Roon's Parametric EQ?
I’ve had a play (small play) but am interested to find out if others have had success with this and use it as part of their settings.
I’m running DSP3200 wall mounted as mains fed directly from a 210 (G61rsl feeds 210 for surround duties and is all working well)
I feel being close to the wall the speakers could do with a top lift slightly to open up the mid and treble area and open up the sound stage. The small play I’ve had has made a noticeable difference.
Are there HH here who have experiences they could share and what they found worked for them?
Many thanks David

[full disclosure: I work for Roon] I use a G68 to create MRC measurements, then I transcribe the values to a Roon parametric EQ for each channel (using a procedural EQ umbrella). A tedious procedure, but it works well and I can't hear any obvious audio "damage" (I listen to MQA material almost exclusively on my 8kSEs.)

There's actually one notch filter parameter, needed for the transcription to Roon, which is "missing" in the MRC (configuration) app, but it's easily calculated from two other parameters which *are* there.
Q = Centre freq. (Hz) / Width (Hz.)
And you want to use a Peak/dip filter type in Roon.

I fully appreciate that DSP3200 are not taking full advantage of MQA but it’s nice to think I have a way to full bring the best out of them in the location they are right now.
