My introduction to Faithless was at an end of the day demo by Meridian at the Bristol hi-fi show many moons ago. Just as the show was closing I was in the KEF room and their staff started gathering to visit the M room. One of them mentioned to a colleague they should come as when it started they wouldn’t be able to hear anything in their room anyway.
I snuck in courtesy of St Des or St Edd and they started Faithless Insomnia live on the full 7.0 DSP8000 rig, at pretty much full volume. The bass was prodigious - truly felt as well as heard. After the track I was walking to my car with my head still ringing in a most enjoyable way.
Great music played on a great setup. Fantastic.
