Thanks; yes those were the steps I followed.
It took me while to figure it out. It was Defender Smartscreen that was stopping the downloads. Some persistent right clicking in the download manager of Edge and I was able to download the common installer and the configuration app. So far so good.

Does anyone know where the Meridian Sooloos Configuration app has gone? I'm thinking about adding an MD600, but need to select which of my drives will be the core.

FWIW I find this page from M’s Korean distributor - https://www.koneav.com/support/downloads.php - the most helpful for Meridian downloads.

I am not using W11, it was on a Win7 machine. The file was stopped and deleted partway through download. I could be wrong of course - it can be a false positive. However it is better to be safe than sorry. This was an unauthorised download, and the type of generic heurisitic indicated from the AV (which is not a Microsoft AV), shows it as a trojan dropper - which makes this cause for concern.
