Is anyone running an AC200 with non-SpeakerLink speakers?

I have made up cables, used a reviver, but I simply can't get comms to talk to an SW1600 sub at all.

Direct from AC200 or daisy chained from a DSP3200.

I just can't understand why it won't control the volume. I have advertised the sub after seeing people say they have the same issue, but it is doing my head in and I would like to try and understand why it doesn't work. grin

I would just like to hear if anyone has used an AC200 with legacy speakers, or if someone who has both in their house if they could possibly try it for me?

It makes no sense to me, if the AC200 has comms, albeit on speakerlink, and the SW1600 has comms, albeit din or BNC, then why can't the AC200 control the subs volume?

It works, it works, it works ... Rick you are the Man!

Not sure what all that I tried in the past, but it is obvious that I did not try your suggestions. I now have the following working.
Roon Streaming through MS200/AC200 combo connected to a a pair of legacy DSP33 through AC12 and an legacy DSW1500.
The DSW1500 connected from the output of the slave DSP33.

Mucho thanks!! (guess I can keep my O system signature in my profile).

Assuming your DSP33 are working fine:

Use a Meridian 5S lead (180 degree Din Comms and RCA digital audio at each end)
Connect from your Slave DSP33 Out to the D1500 Input. Comms into either socket on D1500.
Channel Switch to 1&2

Make sure you wire it all up while turned off.
Then turn on the components.
Finally select a source and try it.

The AC200 has to have a working DSP speaker connected to its Master out.
The Master speaker then creates Slave Comms which the Sub understands.

That Comms Interface IS a Reviver.
Try it from the speakerlink output of one of the DSP3200 into the Din Comms on the sub.

Make sure everything is connected up first, then turn it all on.

Seriously, do you honestly think that someone spending that kind of money on new speakers would be left out in the cold?

This is obviously an isolated issue to a single legacy / SpeakerLink system as Carlton has worked through his troubles.

This is a Meridian fan site by the way.
