OK, I am probably being dense, but... plugged in headphone extension lead round the back of the G01, plugged headphones into extension lead (ancient Pioneer SE-4s, just for this test purpose). First thing I notice is that the speakers didn't cut out when I plugged the 'phones in, second thing, no sound through headphones. Before you ask, the extension lead and the 'phones worked fine with my old Marantz amp. Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Hi,

First thought would be that it's a preamp so you might be expected to have the power amp turned off when listening to the headphones. There might be something in the configuration program or the 'wizard' that allows you to change some of these settings.

Apart from a problem with the headphone output on the G01, check that the source that you're using is correctly assigned to the input and button on the remote and that the button assignment hasn't been changed.

I have to confess that while I do own a G01, I've never actually used it _ it's my 'back-up' tuner just in case of problems with the tuner module on my G68.
