As part of my journey with my 101/M2s I have a 101B that I am servicing/upgrading.

I'm replacing all of the capacitors as a matter of course.

Are there any mods that can be done to the PSU that are worthwhile?

I have seen on another forum that someone built a small PCB rectifier bridge to replace the single component in the existing PSU. Is this worthwhile? I don't have any detail of the circuit built.

I'm new to electronics tinkering - part of the attraction of the 101/M2s is the opportunity to learn some new things through the tinkering. Everything I am likely to do can be reversed if it's not a benefit.

Are there any other mods that are worth performing on the 101 - or indeed the M2s?

I have ordered some new op-amps to try. My intention is to fit DIL sockets to the boards so it gives the potential for plug and play.

Back in the day Avondale used to " breathe " on the 101 to good effect, I don't know what the mods involved though.
