Meridian Unplugged - Powered by MrTechGuy.co.uk Forums Thread Like Summary - Meridian 561 front panel buttons stopped working

Well, this is a puzzle. All of the front buttons on my 561 have suddenly stopped working. The remote still works.

I've powered it off a few times, and reset it via the RS232 connection a couple of times. No joy. Anybody else experienced this?

I have the same issue with a 561; it has started to work again, then gone away again, it's in a working cycle at the moment...

If I recall correctly, it's an issue with the 561, see this 561 Front panel buttons not working topic.

Have you tried ensuring that it is the controller?

Try pressing CLEAR on the remote with everything in standby.

If that does not work, try covering the remote eye sensor on the front panel in case something else is interfering with the unit.

Let us know how you get on.

Cheers,

Steve

you'll have a PM soon...

As an owner of a 561 that doesn't have this problem (yet), it's nice to know that I can fix my Meridian gear by beating on it!
