Hi everyone,
Please can you help me?
I have been using a Meridian 518 signal processor between my 500 cd transport and DSP6000’s.
I plan to replace the 500 transport with the MC200.
My question is should I continue to use the 518 or just go direct to the speakers.
I ask as I understand the MC200 has an anodising filter built in.
What do you think? All advice welcome.
Best
Tim

I use a 518 between my TV and DAB Radio and my 218 pre amp. For the TV I add 12db gain and 3 for DAB radio. Why? Because it just sounds right to my ears... The 218 upsamples and apodises along with MQA.
I use the Optical out from TV to 518 for all Blueray/DVD, Sat TV and Chromecast sources and it all sounds great.
