Hi Paul,

To remove the rear panels, you need to undo all the screws around the edges of the upper and lower panels. You may have to prize the panels from the casework as there is a gasket that can become sticky!

The top panel has two internal cables that connect to the case of the speaker - a grey ribbon cable that connects to the display that plugs into the top of the metal can that houses the DSP/Comms board (it also has an earth wire that uses a spade connector on the metal can), and a black cable that connects to the bass driver units via a six-way round plug. Take pictures so you can make sure the connectors go back in the correct ways.

The top panel connects to the lower panel via several connectors - two grey 4-wire cables, one grey 3-wire cable, and two yellow/green three-way cables. Again, take pictures of how things are connected.

Take a look at the amplifier boards on the top panel - these are the two boards directly under the metal can (with heatsinks bolted to the rear panel) and check the capacitors - if they're light blue and black rubycons then those are the originals.

Good luck,

Steve
