Hi,

I tend to think of RJ45 pin 2 as the COMMS / RS232 ground and pin 5 the audio single ground.

I used pin 2 for the adaptor I built and it worked fine.

That said I wouldn't be surprised if pins 2 and 5 were internally connected wink
