I have my theater on the second floor. The room is double sheetrocked, caulked, trapped, yada yada yada. The room is 2800 cubic feet. It's not soundproof, but I need to be running my 8Ks over 75 before I get complaints. Yes, you will hear/feel the bass throughout the house.
