I will back Jim up that his DSP Speaker *IS* like another receiver. By his posts he was extremely thorough in testing every conceivable way. If one Oppo output works on his 861 or his DSP speakers they should all work. It certainly seems to be pointing at a problem with the Oppo.

Why can't it be the problem Shawn described? Where one output (output 3) did reset correctly but two others (output 1, 2) did not.
