Wonderful hospitality, well organised group events with lots of flexibility, great interaction with the Meridian team.

Thanks to all at Meridian and Nick for arranging the day.

I made it home; traffic was a lot heavier on the way home.

My first trip to the Mother ship, wow what a fantastic day. For me the 8000s / 808.2 where totally awesome (an American term!) and the image from the 810 from SD video input resulting in an image where 97% of the pixels where interpolated was very impressive, of course HD was even better still and the sound well ... smile

It was realy good to meet and chat to other Hikers and Bob / Meridian hospitality was second to none.

Now how do I get SWMBO to like nay accept a pair of 8000s in the front room.

Regards,
Carl

I'd like to add my thanks firstly to Nick not only for organising the event but also for contacting me the night before to let me know of a cancelation that allowed me to attend.

And of course thanks to everyone at Meridian who made time to make us all feel very welcome. It's so nice to see that the two guys responsible for starting the company are still heavily involved and are prepared to host such an event that took a day of their valuable time. Thanks to Bob and Alan... (yeah, they're really good mates now)!

If only I had the room for an 810. Oh yes and a spare 100K or so.

Excellent day, very well organised by both Nick and Meridian. They went to a lot of trouble and dedicated a lot of time to us. Think it is a big positive that M recognise that the Meridian / Hitchhiker relationship is beneficial for both sides. For me it certainly helps to build up the trust and the acceptance that the road map is is confidential for genuine commercial reasons. The key for me is that I believe that there is a road map and that M have a clear game plan for the future and that the they are still locked into the core beliefs that M was founded on.

Think that it is difficult for M to share the roadmap as they are unable to predict development times. Eg it appears that the release of the HD621 was significantly impacted by licencing issues.

Big part of the day for me (and previous evening) was the chance to catch up with fellow HH's, the committment of guys like Dolf from Canada and Philip (and his son Alex) from Cyprus says a lot about the M brand.

Similarly I would like to add my thanks - an excellent day in every way. It was abundantly clear that the passion for quality and excellence was not only led from the top, rather it was totally ingrained in the entire organisation.

I much appreciate the fact that such a significant number of the senior management participated throughout the day.

Thanks

John

Would just like to say a big thank you to Nick for organising such a great day and an even bigger thank you to Bob and all staff at Meridian who took the time to make for such an amazing experience at HQ. I had very high expectations of the day and they were all exceeded and then some.

Meeting up with fellow Hitchers, David, Dolf, Philip and his son was great as we all spoke the same language [Meridian].

After todays experience, it makes me even prouder to be a Meridian owner.

Live long and prosper.

A splendid day, well worth the long drive.

Many thanks to Nick for organising, to all the fellow Hitchhikers who took part and of course to Bob, Allen and the extensive team who spared so much of their time.

Again thanks To Mothership for such a great hospitality (other manufacturers should take note) and Nick for organising this "day off work" (at least for us! -;))
Organisation was second to none, the 810 was something to be seen to be believed, I personally have never seen anything like this!
Loved the british sense of humour, being a long time frenchman in the UK I got it all, some didn't smile
Bob is ever so funny.
I loved the culture of digital excellence, the strong brand identity and of course the roadmap!

Great to finally to faces to names.

I look forward to HH3 sometime in the future!

Care to share the roadmap with those of us 3000 miles away?
