Isn't something that is published and/or presented at the AES public domain? If it is, then Craven's work would become public domain.

I suspect that Craven's work describes the characteristics of such filters without giving away the code wink It then becomes an exercise "left to the reader" to build the filters as required in the DSP hardware of choice.

I could be wrong here, it wouldn't be the first time today laugh
