Great to read the Q&A's . Thank you very much for that!!!
I just really want to know more about the Sooloos and the control 20 and eager to hear possible release dates.
I am really curious to know if it will feature the same TFT screen or if it will feature a more "quality" look and feel with glass screen like the iPhone. Personally im not interested so much in using a PC as I want to really get use of a gorgeous touch screen interface and really use the product for its major strength of navigating through large music collections at rapid speeds. And one more gripe is that the demo of the Control:10 I had didn't display high res images of the cover artwork when the screen goes to full screen mode. It was really pixalated. It would be so sweet if the artwork was super high res and can be displayed like we used to display record and laser disks sleeves : )
However for such a price tag for a control unit I as a consumer would expect a top notch quality finish to it. Just like the beautiful bulid quality on the top of the G series products.
And a tilt function would be the icing on the cake!! I really hope the product is launched with this attention to detail. If so I will be ordering mine quick : )
Knowing my luck the lucky ones fortunate enough to make the HH2 show may see the latest prototype. Shame I cant make it........
Dedicated theater room: 30'x15'x9 11-4-4 Atmos System. John:
Given the almost six month gap between CES and the posting of answers, can you offer any judgement as to whether Bob Stuart 'updated' any of the answers, or are they as transcribed from January? I just wonder whether it is worth re-asking any of these at the impending HH2 day - possbly yes if the CES Q&A is January answers, no if they have been updated?
Thanks as always for your efforts on behalf of the rest of us.

Simon:
I'd have to be going based on my recollection of a discussion 6 months ago.
I don't think the answers have changed significantly, as I know that most of Bob's efforts, and possibly Richard's as well have been strongly focused on the Sooloos acquisition and integration.

The information that I already have on DAB+ is the following: The company that supplies [Meridian] with the DAB module assures us that it can be upgraded to DAB+, although I don't know what this would involve practically nor what the costs implications might be. I have a sneaking suspicion (or maybe hope) that this would be a firmware upgrade with a DAB+ algorithm. Or maybe not...

I'm un-stickying this. It can always be found via the Meridian Q&A / FAQ Thread.
