As title, The display only shows 44K even though I am inserting a 96KHz disc? Is this because the player does not support 96 discs or have I got something wrong in the setup? Thanks

Don't know anything about 96KHZ cds, but 96KHZ dvdas work.

DTS CDs are CDs with DTS encoded at 44.1kHz in the PCM data.

There is no such thing as 96khz CD's HDCD There are not many around but I have a few. Strangely, all my DVD-A discs are displaying as 48K and not 96? Martin

There is no such thing as 96khz CD's Nope. HDCDs will get you some enhancement of the bit depth but the sampling rate is unchanged. Kal

There is no such thing as 96khz CD's Nope. HDCDs will get you some enhancement of the bit depth but the sampling rate is unchanged. Kal I have many discs marked as 24BIT 96KHz so the sampling rate is 96Hz  Also of course that does not answer why my DVD-A display 48K Thanks

HD621, G98DH, G68ADV, Bc Acoustiqe ACT A3, 5200C DSP33, NuForce Reference 9 monoblocks, 2x SB3's, Velodyne DD-15 & DD-12 Subwoofers and a Meridian sub.
