a few things I need to alert everyone about: -All orders have shipped and are on the way or are in the process of going out(at the post), so the PB is complete -When you receive the units all you need to do is connect the included HDMI to DVI cable to the Gefen unit and connect it to the audio only HDMI output, DO NOT connect the power supply to the Gefen unit and DO NOT adjust anything on the Gefen, it is ready to go -Upon your first setup of your Edge unit make sure that the audio setup in the menus is set for audio being output from the "audio only HDMI output" -I had supply issues and could not source components listed for the RCA cable orders, however I did substitute cables in that are 100% equal in quality, I don't think anyone will have any complaints at all, much the opposite in fact, these are fabulous cables that I use in my own system -A new firmware for the Edge was just released today: http://www.anchorbaytech.com/dvdo_edge/EDGE_firmware_v1.1.phpEnjoy the units, appreciate all the support and business and look forward to much more on this great forum thanks

Gary, I believe USPS should have given a "shipment code number" to the package, to be able to track it also within our country postal service.
You can PM me any tracking reference you've. Thanks

thanks It's this mandatory? What if set "Auto Audio Select", since when I just watch normal television, I don't need multichannel system ON, Meridian G68 is switched OFF and, as per the EDGE specs, the audio should go via Optical output - PCM Stereo direct to the TV Monitor, being HDMI set OFF. On the contrary when Meridian processor is ON, The EDGE sets HDMI Audio ON and the optical OFF.....what I need. Did I have the correct understanding? Ermanno

Ermanno I asked for this yesterday by PM and had a reply that he could obtain it but it would only show clearance throug customs. That has not been the case with all my other US imports. It has always been trackable from the States, then changes number in the UK and progress can be tracked to delivery here. I am still waiting for it.

I ship around 20 orders a month overseas and have for 8 years, I use priority mail international, the only tracking available with that service is the customs info you fill out, no other numbers available
delivery confirmation is not available to 95% of countries because they have no way to integrate with our systems so I gave up even using it
now if I would have used EMS, then a nice tracking system is used, however that is almost double the cost
I will get the customs #'s and send them to all those that requested, give me just a bit

Ermanno that may work out, but it might be a mess trying to integrate it, it might be possible as well by just leaving the HDMI audio output setting to what I posted all the time, just give it a try and see if it works alternatively the Edge may function how you are wanting by leaving it set to optical audio output, try it and see with all your sources integrated and see how the SPDIF output mod works with that setting for 100% perfect performance switching between sources and using a HDMI video display connected, I recommend "audio only" HDMI output when using the SPDIF output mod thanks

thanks You seem to be upset by my questions but as you can see from above, that is is exactly what you offered USPS EMS so I am  Please can you explain why you used a different service and how many days this service is? In a PM I asked if the UK orders could be first to go out as we have the obvious lag of postage, your reply was that this should not be a problem. However I got the complete opposite? The delay was caused with interconnects as you have mentioned. Could/should have been communicated to give buyers who chose this option, a chance to cancel that part and a refund made? hence not delaying orders without an explanation? Martin

got mine today,not used it yet and dont plan to for a little while untill i get the gist of all the vp settings which im sure will be interesting to most that dont understand them....namely me.
as regards delivery please remember how far its come and how many mods gary does
for various forums,its not only ours that he caters for.
