I look at this thread most days to see if something has happened. All we would need -took me 3 minutes to write - is something like:
" Folks, we are working 24/7 on new stuff. The intention was to get you the replies by now, but along with the things you know about, and those you don't, we can't really do full justice to the questions that were asked. Also some of the answers will change because of new developments. Believe me we haven't forgotten all of you because you helped get us here!"

Now that would help me understand......... and I have owned Meridian for about 30 years.

Meridian being ridiculously busy is a good thing.

I guess it's likely that some or all the following are in the pipeline:

- Release to web of the latest D8k firmware with apodizing.
- 861v5 (including SpeakerLink output cards and MMHR input card).
- G68.2 (including SpeakerLink outputs and MMHR input(s)).
- G61R.2 (as G68).
- Apodizing updates for 861 and G6x processors.
- A Blu-Ray player (yes, I think this will happen at some point).

While I'd be inclined to agree with you, your choice of language, 'guess' and 'it's likely' is exactly my problem. I'm tired of buying equipment with the promise of future upgrades that never come, so in the finest tradition of 'fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me' the HD621 will remain just a curiosity for me until 'guess' becomes 'fact' and 'it's likely' becomes 'it's announced'. I need to know whether my 861v4 will be upgradeable to v5 - or will at least be able to take a MMHR input card in additon to ID42 - before I'll sink further cash into Meridian gear.

I'm assuming at this point answers to the CES Q&A have been consigned to oblivion. Most dissapointing!

Gee, I thought you were firmly ensconced in the "Meridian won't do a Blu-ray player" camp. What changed your mind?
