With the VGA connected to the 568.2mm, I'd recommend that you try connecting just one RCA at a time to the HD621 whilst playing a known soundtrack, and hear what content (and on which speaker) the 568.2mm outputs. You should be able to spot quite quickly which line is supplying dialogue, music and ambience.
Hope that's a help.
Cheers
George

Audio goes LX-70 (or Oppo 980H) -> iScan VP50 -> HD621 -> 568.2MM -> L/R: Innersound Stereo Electrostatic amp -> Quad ESL 63; Centre: Innersound Mono ESLA -> Martin Logan Cinema; Subs: Stereo pair of JL Fathom f112s; L/R Rear: -> Quad 520f -> ML Script. Interesting that you would put your iScan in front of the HD621. I thought to split out the audio before I have my video processor do any work on the video side. I wonder if it makes a difference.

Jack, I have a Radiance, and am having my HD621 hooked up on Tuesday. If you have any issues still after that, I can let you know. Ken

I am waiting/hoping for my HD621 to arrive soon but I have no idea when it will. I saw one person report that he has not had any problems with the two pieces.

my plam to put the HD621 before the Radiance... Just curious: What's your reasoning for doing so?

R is 1/2 (Front L/R) G is 3/4 (C / Sub) B is 5/6 (Rear L/R) After I ran DVE HD Basics to check the audio I found that is exactly the configuration.

You may be right.
I list below some possible advantages of your method over my method (no particular order):
1 VP50 not required when listening to audio only. 2 VP50 receives and processes video only. 3 SQ may be better because it goes through HD621 without the extra step of the VP50 (unknown audio quality).
I will have to test this arrangement and also see how lipsynch pans out.

I have the HD-HD621 before the Radiance. I might change this if the HD-DVD player does not work ok, but i have not tested that yet. Advantage of the Radiance is that you can set the Audio EDID to only accept PCM and 23,976 (have a toshiba XE1 which seem to have some problems)

But why are you putting it in front of the Radiance? There are valid reasons, the main ones being "I don't trust the Radiance and want the HD621 to get the HDMI stream first before it is altered by the VP" and "I need video delay". But, as you said, one loses the ability to control EDID and the permanent HDMI connection for each source because the Radiance has six HDMI receiver chips, but AFAIK, the HD621 is a switch and has only one.
