Sorry to jump in on a thread, but could I ask for some related advice?

I'm looking at incorporating a HTPC as the main source of TV viewing and I expect to include a Blu-ray drive.

I am waiting for a sound card that will output HD formats at 24P, the Auzentech X-Fi Home Theater HD is now long overdue but its functionality looks good.

I have only recently started looking into the implications of getting the best sound route into my processor (currently 568.2MM but I've been on the lookout for a G68ADV for a while) and obviously I have come across this thread.

I also have a 598DP that is connected to the 568 via the MHR, does this rule out having both connected at the same time?

In order to extract the digital sound from the source I was glad when I came across the possibility of a modified Clux 11SA from Shaun, but if these are no longer available what other possibilities are there? I wasn't looking at changing the video processor (CII 3800) for a while.
