I hope when our "mystery" Hiker gets his Edge we get a readout on how well it does with SD tv. I watched the Australian GP in sd on Dish Network with my 720P/1080i Pioneer last weekend and the pq was terrible. If the Edge makes a significant improvement I'll probably go for one. Otherwise I'll have Gary mod the Oppo BD 83 when it's available.
