I myself watch more Sky HD than Bluray and have to say that the picture quality is exceptional and hard to believe would be significantly improved with the Edge. Like everything else small improvements can cost a lot and in any case who has 20/20 vision? The important element is SPDIF MHR for DVD/Bluray (SKY excluded for now) and the scenario is similar to buying a car, a little more buys this feature that feature etc.....where do you stop ?

If people are willing to pay about �850 for the edge and take the risks associated with importing and any potential support problems that may arise in the future (DVDO won't be interested) then fine but I do believe that the requirement will be met by a cheaper alternative in the near future
