I'm in Mexico (almost) one more week, need to read this carefully when I come home April 3rd. But I'm interested.

Joe,

I have to say something. You are welcome to post your upgrade service here but sometimes I feel it's going a little over the top.

If you have that many offers then I assume you'll have another round or at slightly higher price on an alacart basis as you previously indicated. At least that's how I would expect someone professional doing this and not like my local car salesman that pressures you into signing today or the deal is gone story.

Because that's how I'm reading this.

Let's let up on the sales tactics please and keep it straight. If they are gone by Monday do another batch.

Gary you mean George?

i'm sorry but I said all along that I was doing one batch of these and moving on to other projects, I also said that if demand was greater than what I have provided here that I would consider doing another in a month or 2

I never said that if someone requested a unit say 2 weeks from now that I wouldn't provide it for them, but if they think the price will be anything close to this powerbuy then they are mistaken

I told Tommy what I did because it is a fact, 25 and that is it, no more at this price for a few months if the interest is there(price may be higher due to product costs or I may never do anymore because of lack of interest), if someone doesn't like the sound of me saying that then so be it I can't help that

what I said to Tommy is what I honestly meant, I don't want anyone to miss out and later tell me they wish they would have gotten in at this price

so to sum it up, if Tommy was wanting one of these and decides to wait until he returns to consider purchasing, they will quite literally all be gone, I can do him one at request but the price will be much higher, which most people aren't going to like, these are not sales tactics they are the way things are happening, my comment was meant to be 100% honest to him, a week from now this will be over

thanks George

O.K Gary;

I`m convinced and intrigued with your offer, trusting also, of course, on your zero cost way to manage the import duties (Italy), of which i'd be assured again. Then I`ll shortly issue my order.

I was still on the way for a final decision over my future HD chain……HD HD621….. Oppo BD P83… the need to replace my old and limited DVDO HD+……. Adding a media player………or Dune media player instead of Oppo…. etc. etc. having of course a look over the costs too.

Well…..I believe to have found a good compromise for my needs. Replacing my old HD+ with the EDGE, adding the Dune HD, which is Blu and Media and fitting in a proper way the audio into my G68. My Meridian G98 will still be playing my DVD-A collection.

The only minus is that the EDGE will force me to drive via DVI my Panasonic Monitor TH-PHD8 (1024x768), which I used to drive via RGBHV, being to my experience far better, because a perfect pixel mapping, which cannot be achieved via DVI at 50Hz, but I was close to decide to change my display in a short!

Gary, perhaps a useless question, but are the metadata info`s still managed in the audio communication between the G68 and EDGE?

I Appreciate your business approach and support. Thanks

Cheers,
Ermanno

You can pixel map over DVI but you have to get the timings exact!

However the Edge doesn't allow you to output the custom timings so it is no dice anyway.

Yes gIzzE, you're rigth.

I was meaning It cannot be acheved at 50Hz and appliyng FRC to all at 60HZ it was not good enough even 75Hz didn't work well with this monitor.
