I agree that you would expect a Trio of D8k's for �45k (It was a Sterling UK Price quoted by visitors to the Meridian Demo at Bristol, therefore not a US$ Price, which as Frank says is $60k)

However, As was covered by Roger and a few others here who went to Bristol, Bob was Demo'ing a PAIR of D8k's along with the 808i and Sooloos

The "�45k Price" came from Two different guys on Two different Forums (AV Forums and What Hifi) If it was just one comment, I would probably have ignored it

Given that Meridian have recently "changed" the D8k, I just wonder if there is any truth to the �45k price?? A 50% Price Increase for Apodizing and Speakerlink is too much IMHO and I sincerely hope that the comments are wrong. Mind you, the D8k's have been �28k to �29,995 for several years now, so maybe Meridian is taking this opportunity to...........

Hopefully someone here who went to Bristol can refute this new D8k price???
