Some over here would show up...if we could. I first bought M in 1981 after meeting A.B. at a show. I said, you're the designer, aren't you. And he said, "yes!" Great memories...that one was in London but not near Heathrow as I recall. I met R.S at the Stereophile L.A. show in 1995 and he introduced me to M's San Diego retailer Steve Nielsen. I have a thick file of sales receipts to prove it!
Roon, Technics SL10 turntable, Meridian 218, Jolida tube DAC, Nuforce STA 200 Amp and passive Swallow Acoustics ALS2 speakers

I misread some of the earlier publicity. With just a few days to go before the show, it really does look as though the only new products Meridian will be displaying are Sooloos and the iPod dock. There is no metion of the HD621. And Meridian's News section on its website does not even refer to Bristol. This seems like a lost marketing opportunity, unless they want to spring something on the day as a surprise. But then they will not have attracted us to the show to see it.

Why don't you call and ask them what products they will have at the show?

I did, a couple of weeks ago. They told me they had not decided. That was before they put up details on the Show site.

There is no metion of the 621. As I understand it, the miserable Meridian room at the miserable "High End" show in Stockholm a week ago sported a HD621.
HD621, G98DH, G68ADV, Bc Acoustiqe ACT A3, 5200C DSP33, NuForce Reference 9 monoblocks, 2x SB3's, Velodyne DD-15 & DD-12 Subwoofers and a Meridian sub.

What a pity Meridian did not advertise the event and what they were showing on their website. They need to try harder (not much more effort required).

It sounds as though there may have been a significant change of plan by Meridian which may also indicate HD621 problems. What Hi-Fi site reported on 2 February that Meridian had abandoned plans to show their 810 video system at Bristol!

Wasn't it reported recently that HD621 was gone into production with a view to an end of month / early March timeframe for shipping ? Perhaps someone could ask at them at the show for clarification ?

At last, Meridian have updated thier website. They will be demonstrating the 8081.2 with SpaekerLink 8ks and also showing a range of Sooloos kit, 5200s, F80 etc. Why did they take so long to tell us?
Hopefully someone who has visited the show today will report back.
