Is there any reason that I should not order this from Shawn tonight?

I would further ask why anyone would not do this and wait for the 621 instead, but I am afraid that that answer would be over my head.

The HD621 will apply some additional audio processing (reclocking and reshaping) so should have reduced jitter in its output compared to the Clux. Whether or not this leads to audible improvment is debatable especially when you consider that the audio signal will get similar treatment when it arrives at your G68. Time may tell.
