I just downloaded the Crossover trial also and was able to load the Meridian Common Installer and legacy mconfig, but it won't run. It opens in the dock, and then closes. I was able to load and run Internet Explorer and it seems to work, and coincidentally the only site (so far) that doesn't work is Meridian. which windows software did you install Crossover originally installed win98, but when I the Meridian setup.exe it created another bottle with xp.
mine doesnt seem to have installed anything to do with windows . oh well time to load up a copy of xp

Guys, the last time I tried Crossover- a while ago- it didn't work very well. You can run Parallels in a mode where you free the program windows from the windows OS- make them look like they are running inside the mac os. I personally dont like this. I like knowing I am running a separate OS. No matter how hard you try, there are mac conventions and windows conventions and they are often different (eg- close window buttons are at different places).
