I just ripped the same CD (11 tracks) with iTunes and XLD. Ripped both to Apple Lossless. iTunes took 3 min. XLD I did two rips, one with CDParanoia mode on, and one with it off. With CDParanoia on it took 14 min, off it took 4 min. With each mode XLD probably took at least a minute longer to load, detect pregap and be ready for ripping. Both log files show "Accurately ripped (confidence 25)", with two tracks having a confidence of 26 and two of 24. I have no idea what the scale for confidence is. Interestingly, the times for most tracks are different from each other by a second or two and both are different from what is on the CD jacket. The confidence is number of matches in database found. That means 26 people got exactly (no pun intended) the same checksum.
