They claim that because the 800 requires 2 updates to be done in the right order this isn't a consumer update but should be done by the more knowledgeable dealer. I have heard that getting this wrong is a return to base fix.
My dealer did give a CD copy sometime ago so I don't know if it's the absolute latest - but I chickened out from using it at the time (I don't need 1080p yet). I'll try and find it and see what version it is.

Meridian released new versions of the Configuration Program, Control Window and Flash Upload Program over the weekend (date given is 2008-10-30, but I'm reasonably sure it wasn't there on Friday).
