My plans already call for replacing the stereo/analog function of the 861 since most good analog preamp...that was when I first tried to sell it on audiogon...even taking a 50% hit...no takers...there is even a dealer trying to sell the same 861 v4 for almost a year...he can't sell it...so I explored the selling of Meridian option...but the market is pretty dead for their processors.

By the way as a processor...of the older codexs...its very good

As to other high end companies...some are good and some not so good...but most seem to get some information out. I have found Ayre to be very good about their plans...than lets me make some plans
