Not sure how to Verify. But supposedly he bought them not that long ago off eBay and is trying to resell them around the same price he bought them for. So you may be seeing the Ads he originally bought them with. Try contacting the the other Ads and see if his claim is correct. They are a good enough deal to do the homework. If I were to buy them I'd personally pick them up.

George,
Good idea, but I don't think I'll be driving from South Carolina to Oregon for this great deal.
BTW, how do we know that he just bought them? I can't seem to find that part of eBay.
Anyhow, one of the other ads is for a yellow pair, not gloss black, but photoed in the same room?
Tommypeters, I may be turning paranoid too, but not all the way to android!

JGlacken,
If you're seriously interested I have a friend in Portland, Or who would probably be willing to check out the speakers. West Linn is a suburb of Portland. Send me the seller's contact info and he'll check the guy out.
Ken
Edit: a phone number always helps if you can get one.

Ken,
That's a great offer. Thank you. I have asked for his address and phone number. We will see if he responds. He claims he is moving and that is why he has been slow to respond. I will let you know.

Just for information, the seller has backed out and says he now wants to keep them. Makes you wonder if this was real or not. Everyone has the right to change their mind, but it still makes me wonder. He didn't seem to deal in good faith. That's part of what makes this forum tick. Oh well, off to the next conquest.
