Maybe they will make it easier to use the M810 for iPod Video.

Maybe a little off topic but what's the small box on the second bottom shelf on the equipment rack? It looks to be badged Meridian but I don't recognise it. Any ideas?

Chris, I assume it's their new video processor.

The item third from bottom looks like a G61R (the wording on the front appears to be "G61R Digital Surround Controller") which is completely superflous in the system. Don't the 800 and 861 in black look dated...

EDIT: It's not the VP. That's in another of the pics. Do you reckon it's our magic box?

EDIT2: The VP is the "C62". Do you think we'll finally get our G62? grin

VK,

the vp is in the other picture. I wondered if it might be the "magic box" or maybe, as it's really quite small, it's a coax & old comms to SpeakerLink converter.

interesting...

Chris

PS. My black 800/861 don't look as old fashioned in real life as those do in the photo (at least not enough to make me want to part with 3200 for new cases).

I have both the 800 and the 861 in black and in my opinion they look GREAT in black and I would never consider getting them changed to silver...

interesting...

Looks like it. It has 3 thick (HDMI?) cables running to it as well as 3 cables (SPDIF?) tied together.

Another interesting fact: the 'C?? Super High Definition Scaler' has a QDeo logo....

Yes. Looks like the relationship with Faroudja is well and truly over, at least from a technology development perspective.

QDeo = Marvell BTW: http://www.clearlyqdeo.com/

Just noticed another thing. On the photo posted on cepro.com the Qdeo logo and product naming are not present.
