I own DSP-33's, DSP5000's, DSP5500's, DSP-6000's. And I have listened to DSP8000's (couple times in peoples homes) and DSP5200's. I have never heard DSP7000's or DSP7200's. And a whole bunch of expensive analog speakers.

So far, the DSP-6000's are the sweetest things I have ever heard in my life (maybe I'm just due for a change). Both sets of DSP8000's were in poor rooms in my opinion (that would suck the life out of any speaker) and I have no doubt they are the best Meridian speaker.

I just heard DSP5200's today. They are pretty sweet sounding and are a significant step up from DSP5000's (Bass and openness).

Very few of these demo's were side by side A/B tests and the room has a lot to do with it.

A friend was over who is rather critical of how much I spend on audio and liked my previuos setup. But he knew immediately the DSP-6000's were really something else. Now he wants to bring some friends over to hear them (Lexicon owners).
