Hi

keep trying MRC with my 861 (connected to DSP 800r,l; 5200c,rr,rl) and SNL is too low... i have tried 3 different sound pressure meters from radio shack - and have tried everything that Meridian UK suggested - but still no luck... i have double checked the analog input and have changed the input sensitivity and still no luck.. any thoughts??? thanks..

Have you tried aiming the Mic at the speaker as it goes around the room?

Are all speakers failing?

What are the calibration offsets at?

I assume you've tried different ranges on the RS Meter.

I know I'm sounding like a stuck record with a "downer" on Meridian tonight, but how many times does this problem have to be mentioned before it gets fixed?

Let's not discuss what Meridian needs to do in this thread while Winst tries to get help. Start a new topic if you wish.

Try a different cable between the meter and the 861. I was having very similar issues, and was finally able to get better (good enough, but not great) SNR #'s after I changed the cable.

What sensitivity range on the SPL are you using?

Are you using the latest version of the config program ?
