Another example of lack of proof reading:

The "new" DSP Loudspeaker Guide (http://www.Meridian-audio.com/handbooks/DSP%20Loudspeaker%20User%20Guide.pdf, which doesnt include the 5200 or 8000 etc, yet the printed manual that comes with the speakers do) claims the RS232 format is 2N1 wink This has been cut-n-pasted for all 3 models too.

Yes. Amusing in the manuals. Not too funny when your 4,000 processor or 20,000 speakers don't work properly.

What I am really saying is that this is symptomatic of lack of control. Rapid expansion in a company making 150 DVD players leading to this type of thing and you might shrug your shoulders but at this price point you might think they could employ enough staff to get it right.

That said...better to make a mess of the documentation than a mess of the product...nonetheless, I am sympathetic to your point that at these price points every i should be dotted and every t should be crossed...

Let's bear in mind that we're accessing them on the media site. These aren't really for public consumption yet, although I do accept that the media need accurate information, too.
