Shortly due to get a Squeezebox Duet myself and love the interface with the remote. Then I stumbled across this guy's blog page and saw the picture at the top :

http://www.tomrafteryit.net/buffalo-terastation-2tb-home-server-review/

So , how about the Duet with a 4 Terabyte version here :

http://www.buffalo-technology.com/products/network-storage/terastation/terastation-pro-ii/

Is it even do-able ?

I had 2 opportunities to join the 'BD' revolution recently and scorned both for a new set of golf irons and this Duet while I wait for the 861 upgrade smile

My duet is also on order.

I use 3x2Tb Buffalo Terastations in my setup (1 holds music/files, the others act as various backup scenarios). I also had a Terastation Pro at one point but found it very noisy compared to the home versions and it also developed hardware problems. The 3 Home servers have been running fine for over a year now... I like 'em and would be happy to buy more.

You're way ahead , Mark ( as usual smile ). It'd be interesting to see how smooth your system operates with the Duet . Shouldnt be any problems I dont think .

Disappointed to hear of volume level problem with Terastation Pro , I'll check around the forums to see if it is still an issue .

Got one of the new controllers on pre-order to use with my SB3.

I gather that the hardware is with the distributors, just the final debugging of SqueezeCenter 7 required before release. When SC 7.0 comes out of beta you should get your stuff quite soon.
