CEDIA has come and gone and therefore I can now live up to my promise to post some theater pics. The theater did not win any awards. I suspect there were several excellent entrants and also mine is not very ornate.

Theater Room Equipment:
Stewart Cinecurve 2.40:1 135" wide screen with automated masking system
4x Meridian 8000 speakers for the corners
3x Meridian 7000 speakers for the center and sides
Crestron touchpanel
Phone
Cinematech Lonestar automated chairs (very cool) Heres a URL- looks better in real life than in their picture:
http://www.mycinematech.com/Seating/Lonestar/index.html

at least 1 human for auditory and visual verification of proper functioning of said system smile
Human requires sustenance and the occasional bathroom break laugh

Equipment Room:
Meridian 861, 800, 518
2 Macintosh Computers
Kaleidescape System
Panasonic BR Player
Toshiba XA1 HDDVD player (generously donated by fellow Hitchhiker MelkyBarKid Mark smile )
Sony 5 CD Changer
Sony Sat TV box for house audio distribution
Sony HD Sat TV Box for media room
Crestron AM/FM Tuners

Crestron Control processor

Crestron Audio distribution

Audio Control multi zone amps

Pixel Magic Systems Cysyalio II Video Processor (the processor I actually use)

Runco DHD processor- required to run the projector and move the lens

Some home security stuff I forget the names of

Multisync LCD monitor to control the Macintosh computers- one was my music server before the kaleidescape and the other is a house backup

Projector is the Runco VX-55 Cinewide with autoscope (moving lens sled)

(lazy camera man left some of his stuff in the picture towards the back of the room!)

Nice Jerry! And most amusing that you use a 518 with the 861!

Nice work Jerry!!!! Love it that you have it so un-cluttered. Very nice.

Amazing that you have such a rack even though you've got DSP's!! Imagine what you'd have with amps in there too.

I hope you used LED lighting to save energy wink

Seriously. Very nice - love the chairs - how do you stay awake in them?

Amazing.

I second sns' view; clean and uncluttered every time. Some entries in the past have tended to look like Liberace's boudoir.

Not nit-picking or anything but... might the white ceiling so close to the screen not marginally affect the top of the picture just a smidgen?

Anyway, may you bask in the green glow of my envy. sick

Congrats.

How does dinner next friday sound , Jerry ? On me , really . wink

It looks a real treat . Stylish and simple , and that is not easy to do .And probably sounds better than the one on the Hikers Day demo . I wish I could find some of that racking over
here frown

Do you ever get the urge to go outside ? smile

Best ,

I'd guess he'd crank open those DSP8000s!

Turn it up a little, I think I can hear from Florida.. smile

Beautiful and elegant Jerry - Fantastic accomplishment -
hope to see it in person someday...

I always enjoy seeing photos of the ‘engine rooms' people have housing all their components. It's just such a magnificent array of technology.

Looks very nice. No problems with the light colors on the ceiling and wall in relation with reflections when projecting ?

Very nice cable work on the backside of those racks.
