Are we going to get any answers, or at least a nicely worded 'no comment'?

I'll send a note to Bob.
It's possible that it fell into a spam filter -- but he might just be quite busy.
I know I am.

JK any luck yet? I think everyone is waiting on your Q&As.... I don't really understand the delay, I'm sure they are busy but surely HHGTM is important an customer support site they value. we are their most valued customers huge experience, brand loyalty,etc.... I hope they are so busy that they are about to release 861v5, G68HDMI, etc...

JK any luck yet? I think everyone is waiting on your Q&As.... They aren't my Q&As -- they are the groups Q&As I'm just the emissary I don't really understand the delay, I'm sure they are busy but surely HHGTM is important an customer support site they value. It is equally possible that the problem is on my end. I have been having issues with good e-mail getting spam filtered away and spam making it through the filters. I've gotten a note off before I typed this message to Bob to see if there's a problem on my end. we are their most valued customers huge experience, brand loyalty,etc....
[quote]I hope they are so busy that they are about to release 861v5, G68HDMI, etc... 861v5 was shown at CEDIA; I don't know the shipping date. It doesn't have HDMI. I do wonder if the G61R (G61+MRC) is positioning for a non-HDMI product in the "basic" pre-pro lineup (think ahead with me towards an HDMI future). Cheers,

I do wonder if the G61R (G61+MRC) is positioning for a non-HDMI product in the "basic" pre-pro lineup (think ahead with me towards an HDMI future). See my "G68 shocker?" thread. I think it's looking more and more like an external HDMI preamp solution as an add on to all G- and C-series processors. Otherwise there will be eleven (count them!) variants to upgrade. I can't see that happening and I can't see Meridian disenfranchising all of its existing G/C processor user base.

We should keep this post sticky until it is resolved by some M communication via JK, what do you think?
