My understanding is that 3 of 1 metre long cables came with the 861/800 combo and would have thought that should have been included with the 800 V3 fitted with the OE22 audio output card. Unfortunately I will need 1.5 to 2 metre long interconnects and, my enquiries, so far, have indicated they are not inexpensive.

I'm holding off the 800 until I have an 861 upgrade and this is proving a frustrating wait.

Meridian stuff IS expensive and not for the faint hearted. It took me months to come to terms paying out the cost of a new car for the processor. I'm having similar difficulties with the 800 and it will make a significant dent into the retirement savings.

But, you cannot take it with you. Problem is to make sure you have enough to last in the interim, being in blissful ignorance as to how long the lifespan is :-( Starting to sound morbid so time to go back to escape into the world of entertainment (music & video) - what this obsession is all about.
