How about an update/upgrade to some of the 800 series cards? Would love to see a TP01 to get a workable headphone and 2nd/3rd room system from my substantial investment in the 861. The TP00, which I think dates back to 861v1, is antiquated by today's standards.

I'm curious to know why there isn't a headphone out on the all-in-ones; G91 / G95. No room in the chassis ? Or philosophical reasons ?
Regards
Mark

Manus:
I intend to enjoy the show -- although I would like less appts and more actual "floor time".
Also, I do have the Q&A scheduled for CEDIA -- thanks to Bob (and Sue) if you're reading this thread.
Best,

Time is running out to post your questions.... I'm going to reserve the first spot tomorrow after question closeout to post the formatted questions and (eventually) answers.
Cheers,

John, the reason for the limited number of questions is a combination of (i) no developments from M over the last 12+ month and (ii) not asking previously asked questions...so, the lack of questions should not come as a surprise to anyone.

What technologies are most promising to use for future DSP speakers?
Would it be beneficiary to place two 8" bass woofers on each side of the DSP7000 cabinet (instead of the two front firing)?
Would it be beneficiary to place one 8" bass woofer on each side of the DSP5200 cabinet (subtracting one 6,5" front firing woofer)?
Would an upgrade to 192Khz DSP speaker connections provide more headroom for balance/volume and not compromising the original 24/96Khz stream present on disc?
What is Meridians stance on oversampling/upsampling are Meridians algorithms constantly improved or are they fixed?
If an AC3 stream is sent directly to a G68 does the 5200 speakers upsample in every speaker to 96Khz? (I think I read somewhere that the speakers could upsample themselves)
Will MRC2 help us get the most out of our processors capability with consistency?
Why doesn't G68 upsample AC3 streams when MRC is disabled? All that DSP power is not put to use..
I use the SW1600 subwoofer, would it get even better control and authority if constructed with two opposite side firing wooders? (The technology DSP8k is using).
Facility to use two subwoofers (stereo configuration) in a 7 speaker setup?
Could the USB port in G68 be used for digital PC audio? (there are many USB soundcardboxes out there which doesn't require anything else than just built in XP/Vista drivers for audio.
Could an USB connection for PC audio sources be viable on coming upgrades/generations of Processors?
Current stance on the format war? Is Meridian a member of the Blu-Ray group as well as HD-DVD?
Does Meridian see an oppurtunity to support digital distribution of Movies and Music in their future products?
Would an F80 be more desirable with WiFi/LAN lossless/MP3/wma audio support? Would an F80 be more desirable with twice the power to drive the woofer? Would an F80 be more desirable with HDMI support?
Would a Dual DVB-T HD tuner with HDD slot and LAN be too niche product for Meridian? Would a team up with a manufacturer like Sagem be a better position to work from?

At what HDMI version level would it make sense to put it in a G68 or 861 as an upgrade?
