I would just make sure you have Version 1.21 software not 1.2(Press Display on front panel several times till it shows one or other).There was a problem with 1.2 which has been corrected with 1.21 which is available from Meridian's website.Other than that just make sure to press Return in between commands regardless of what's on-screen and it should become region-free.
