No, the chroma upsampling error (CUE) occurs inside the MPEG decoding chip. For some reason (possibly early DVD-A support), Meridian chose the C-Cube Ziva 3 (596 and 800) and Ziva 5 (598, G9x and presumably the 800v4). Luckily, the CUE bug can be masked, but it's still not ideal.
