But we don't want to meet any 500 or G owners. Just 800 owners. And us.

Hopefully the spectres of the original occupants of Meridian's new factory, didn't influence their decision to tie up with a sports car manufacturer.

I'm sure those profligate spendthrifts who have been living on tick without a care for tomorrow will welcome your company and your contribution to raising the average. They will now be able to increase their monthly payments. A most kind and generous gesture.

I sent an e-mail to Meridian this morning regarding when the F80 will replied and has advised me that that it goes into full production at the end of the month. From this we can safely deduce that it should make its apperance in the dealerships mid April if you live in the UK. Elsewhere will obviously take a little longer. smile

Personally I am excited about the F80. My living room does not have a TV or audio system. I wanted to keep it looking a little more "normal". I have picked out a spot where an F80 will go as soon as it comes to the US.

Stacey,
I think I speak for all of us when I say we look forward to reading your thoughts on this unit. I could see my using it in my home office perhaps. I think Meridian is doing the smart thing by branching out to "lifestyle" type items. Porsche did the Cayenne and look at them now...

best regards,
Jerry

It's the ridged bit for the base I am not sure I like. Looks nice in white though.

I've just seen that the F80 is front page news on Russ Andrews latest catalogue. The train gathers pace....
