If you haven't been made aware of it yet, the all-new and revolutionary Apple iPhone was announced this week. It is expected on the USA market in June and in Europe in October/November.

Given Meridian's recent iPod dock announcement, I believe the iPhone could further Meridian's interoperability with the latest Apple device.

Not simply a mobile phone; it's a 802.11n wireless pda and integral music/video iPod, with full-screen web-browser, photo viewer, with access to iTunes, runs OS X and has either 4Gb or 8Gb of storage.

Now, if Meridian were to release either an OS X version of M.Config, or a web-browser derived version of M.Config - and recognising the inherent internet radio, music and video capabilities of the iPhone - this would be a handsome accessory for any Meridian rig.
