Harry, the dip is measured, let me see if I can get hold of a screenshot of the sub plot and see what you think. I remember having some questions regarding how steep the G68 crossover is and it is 24dB/octave.

I have put it between the center and the right speaker. For music/Trifield it's only offloading the center speaker. For movies it handles all speakers bass below 53Hz.

DSP8000SE, DSP7200SEHC, DSP5200SE sides, DSP7200SE rears, 861v8, 210, Sim2 Ultranero 4, Stewart Cinecurve 2.35:1, XEIT CM-5E Anamorphic lens, Dune HD Duo Cinema 8K and Wireworld Platinum 48G HDMI -> UHD722 -> Shunyata Omega Ethernet. Shunyata/Furutech power-cables/filters. SR Master Fuse@861v8. Uptone Etherregen with 10MHz OCXO clock.

Dargo-Harry;
Yes, use the center/sub; Daisy chain out from the center to the new sub, just like you do now for Mains L/R... Also connect the Comms on the sub according to the manual;

Yes - MRC plays a big part - that's one of the advantagees in using an M- DSP sub with the MRC; Does a great job finding the peaks and dip as crion indicates. This is another effective tool that may help offset some of the advantages of 2 subs; although 2 will always be better, just maybe not enough better to justify it for some...

Crion,

For 2 subs set up, which speaker's bass will the subs offload?
Since my vertical center is identical with the L/R speakers , isn't logical to offload the bass from all speakers eventhough only 1 sub is in the system?

Harry

Yes 2 (stereo) subs will offload the whole front, LCR.
